HELLO LONDON | CANAL WALK

Hello Lovely People and welcome back to a (finally after a long time) Hello London blogpost! 2020 has been a really challenging year so far. I hope you all are well and safe and that you haven’t been affected by the Covid-19 situation.

For me personally, this has been a year of a lot of growth and self-love. I appreciate much more the time I spend with others, but most importantly the time I spend with myself. Can you imagine how fast time flies? Me neither! Beginning of the quarantine, even when I am working from home, I thought this is going to be the longest lockdown ever. Of course like everyone else I had some up and downs during the lockdown, but I am happy that I was wrong and that the time flew away. I found so many creative inspiration and growth which helped me to get through some tough times as well as being isolated. Wow, let’s be proud we all made it through the lockdown period and that most of 2020 have been gone. Let’s pray that the COVID-19 will go and we can enjoy travelling and each other again and please appreciate the time you can spend with people you love and care for.

So from the end of July, the beginning of August 2020 restaurants, bars and museums are slowly opening up again. It feels good to see people enjoy the outside life again. Hopefully, I can book a visit to the museum again soon.

With the beautiful weather recently, I was happy to meet up with a friend and do a walk near the canal from Kings Cross, Camden town to Primrose Hill. I definitely recommend walking around the city, if you live in or near the city centre. So many places you can just walk to and every corner in the city centre is beautiful. Next to a nice company and great chat we had during the walk, we did a bit of exercise as well. Can you believe it we walked for more than 12 km in 4 hours?

Kings Cross and St Pancras is such a beautiful place with the restaurants near Granary Square, the Coal Drops Yard and of course the canal. A lovely place to meet up, but also a place to see people enjoy the weather and each other’s companies.

Below some of the impression of the route we walk, so bring a camera or just use your phone as I did and make some memories. I didn’t edit the pictures below. They are taken with my Honor 10.
