If you’re looking for an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant near Rotterdam Central Station, Miso Sushi Rotterdam Plaza is one of the city’s most convenient options. I recently visited with my family, and its stylish interior, generous selection and relaxed two-hour dining format made it an easy choice for dinner. From sashimi and grilled prawns to salmon tartare and speciality rolls, here’s what we tried, how the ordering system works and whether the premium menu is worth the extra cost.

A Lovely Sushi Spot in Central Rotterdam

I visited Miso Sushi Rotterdam Plaza after spending time with my family in Rotterdam, and it was exactly the kind of relaxed dinner spot I enjoy discovering while travelling, or when I’m back home.

The interior feels modern and polished without being formal. Soft lighting, comfortable seating and beautifully presented dishes create a relaxed atmosphere, while the staff were friendly throughout our visit.

Its central location is another advantage. The restaurant is at Plaza 2, a short walk from Rotterdam Central Station, making it convenient for visitors arriving by train, shopping in the city centre or looking for dinner before travelling home.

For visitors exploring Rotterdam, it’s genuinely one of those easy “what should we eat tonight?” options.

The All You Can Eat Sushi Concept

The concept is simple, but honestly, very generous.
You get around two hours to dine, and during that time, you can order:
  • 5 rounds
  • 5 dishes per round
For dinner, the final ordering round takes place 30 minutes before the two-hour dining period ends. The restaurant also requires each guest to order at least one drink. To discourage food waste, uneaten sushi may be charged at €1 per piece and other unfinished dishes at €2 per dish.
Which sounds manageable at first… until the food keeps arriving and you realise how much variety there actually is.
I liked that it wasn’t just sushi either. The menu includes:
  • Sushi rolls
  • Sashimi
  • Fried snacks
  • Meat dishes
  • Fish dishes
  • Salads
  • Grilled items
So even if someone in your group isn’t obsessed with sushi, there’s still plenty to enjoy.
It felt much more elevated than some all-you-can-eat concepts I’ve tried before in Rotterdam.

Regular vs Premium Menu: Is It Worth It?

Personally, I think the premium menu is worth it if you really enjoy sashimi and special rolls.
The premium option includes:
  • Tuna sashimi
  • Salmon sashimi
  • Special sushi rolls (carpaccio, unagi, truffles)
  • Grilled prawns
  • Salmon tartare
And honestly, those extras made the experience feel far more luxurious.

Current Prices

💡 Price note: These prices were checked against Miso Sushi’s official information in August 2026. The restaurant notes that different prices may apply on certain public holidays, so confirm the latest price before visiting.

Monday – Wednesday

  • Regular: €38.50
  • Premium: €43.50

Thursday – Sunday

  • Regular: €40.50
  • Premium: €45.50
For the amount of food and the quality, the pricing actually feels very reasonable for Rotterdam right now, especially considering how expensive sushi can get elsewhere in the city or here in London.

My Favourite Dishes

There were a few things I would absolutely order again.

Salmon Tartare

Fresh, soft, slightly creamy, and beautifully presented. This was one of the standout dishes for me from the premium menu.

Grilled Prawns

Perfectly grilled with that slightly smoky flavour that balances well with the cold sushi dishes.

Sashimi Selection

The salmon and tuna sashimi tasted fresh and high quality, which is honestly the most important thing when it comes to sushi.

Special Rolls

I loved trying different rolls across the rounds because it made the whole dinner feel playful and relaxed instead of rushed.

Dessert: Two Scoops of Ice Cream

One detail I appreciated was the ice cream included at the end of our meal. We could choose two scoops from several flavours, including:

  • Mango
  • Vanilla
  • Matcha
  • Black sesame
  • Yuzu
The Matcha and Yuzu flavours felt especially unique and added a nice Japanese-inspired ending to the meal.
It’s a small touch, but it made the whole experience feel complete.

Is Miso Sushi Rotterdam Plaza Worth It?

Yes, especially if you value variety, a central location and a polished setting without formal dining.

Miso Sushi Rotterdam Plaza is a good choice for:

  • Sushi lovers who enjoy ordering several small dishes
  • Groups that want sushi alongside grilled, fried and meat options
  • Visitors looking for dinner near Rotterdam Central Station
  • Diners willing to pay extra for sashimi and premium specialities

What stood out was the balance between quality, atmosphere and price. The restaurant feels stylish and elevated while remaining casual enough for a spontaneous dinner after shopping or exploring Rotterdam.

I would return and choose the premium menu again, mainly for the sashimi, salmon tartare and grilled prawns.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Miso Sushi Rotterdam Plaza is an easy recommendation for a relaxed dinner with family, friends or a date. Its location near Rotterdam Central Station, stylish interior and broad menu make it more memorable than a basic all-you-can-eat restaurant.

The premium upgrade was worthwhile for me because the sashimi, salmon tartare and grilled prawns were among my favourite dishes. I would happily return, but I recommend allowing the full two hours, ordering thoughtfully and booking ahead for a busy evening or weekend.

My rating: 5/5, excellent variety, atmosphere, location and premium-menu choices.
