We dove straight into the festive season, and it’s been nothing short of magical! ✨ The Highlights: • We kicked off with a cosy platter evening at home to unwind and set the holiday mood.🍷 • The next day, we indulged in a festive lunch at Aqua Shard, soaking in breathtaking views of the city. • Afterward, we headed to The Nickel Bar at The Ned for a relaxed tea break. Local tip: don’t miss visiting the bank safe in the basement—a unique and historic spot worth seeing! • To top it off, we embarked on a beautiful walking tour to admire the dazzling Christmas lights of central London—a true feast for the eyes! Running until January 26, 2025, Muholi’s work captures the lives, struggles, and resilience of South Africa’s Black LGBTQIA+ communities. Known as a “visual activist,” Muholi’s photography does more than a document; it advocates and amplifies voices too often silenced. Each black-and-white portrait is raw, dignified, and deeply haunting. Themes of labour, racism, eurocentrism, and sexual politics are woven into each image, telling stories of pride, love, struggle, and resilience. Walking through this collection was a humbling experience—one that invites you to pause, to listen, and to reflect on the power of visibility and the bravery of those who demand recognition.
