Six Classic Christmas Light Stops
My walk began on Oxford Street, where the festive lights stretched above one of London’s busiest shopping streets. From there, I continued towards Regent Street to see the illuminated angels suspended above the road.
The next stop was Carnaby Street, which featured a colourful planetary theme during this particular Christmas season. Because Carnaby introduces different decorations over time, the photographs in this article capture the display from my original visit.
I then continued to Bond Street to see the Christmas façades created by its luxury shops. Mayfair was another highlight, particularly the seasonal exterior at Annabel’s and the decorations around the Ritz and Claridge’s.
My final stop was Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly. Its illuminated exterior resembled an Advent calendar, while the Christmas windows presented a series of festive scenes.
