Hello beautiful Souls! Are we ready for a spooky weekend? Halloween is around the corner, so what to do around Halloween in London? Here are a few activities that are fun to do around Halloween in the city.

My Halloween journey started last year. Let me tell you; the atmosphere is so lovely! [London is a perfect place where you can be you] Most people are dressed up and have lots of fun.

One of the things I enjoyed last year was a Halloween party at Skygarden. What else do you need than live music, cocktails and a mesmerising view? If you buy your ticket way in advance, the ticket will not be that pricey. Last year I dressed up as a skeleton Dracula. [a little bit of improvisation]

After hours of preparation to get a perfect skeleton face. [This took two hours and a lot of effort] Off, we went to the Skygarden with one of my friends. We had a once-in-a-lifetime experience. What is more exciting than dancing, enjoying and having fun late at night seeing a 360 view of London City? By the way, included in the entree ticket are two drinks; a welcome drink and a cocktail at the bar. Local tip, if you book a table at Darwin Brasserie or Fenchurch restaurant, you can just hop to the party after dinner, no ticket needed. [You’re welcome]

Another fun thing to do is go bar crawling in Soho. There are [so] many bars where you can dance and enjoy the Halloween atmosphere. Here you find many people dressed up and looking very scary.

If you are not into bar crawling or a party, there are more scary things to do around this time of the year. Go, for example, on a guided ghost tour. I always wanted to do a Jack the Ripper guided walking tour. Halloween will be the perfect time to do a ghost tour.

Of course, there are many other things to do in London with Halloween. Scary activities that I want to do this Halloween, you [probably] will see next year, the same time – the same place.

HELLO FOODIE | COQBULL SPITALFIELDS

Hello Beautiful Souls! Are you enjoying all the food blogs with lots of different restaurant suggestions? I hope you do because I have [still] some left for you. Today I am taking you to CoqBull in Spitalfields Market. You will recognise the restaurant because of the lovely colourful [fake] flowers on the outside terrace.

The inside is pretty cool [as well], with lots of street art on the wall and a beautiful kitchen and bar. I think this place is famous for its burgers and wings, but I went for brunch and went [completely] for something else.

 

The brunch menu is excellent. I went for the avocado toast with poached eggs and some fries on the side. Technically not sure if you can screw up a toast like this, but it was delicious. Great for a brunch date with friends, dates or family. The fries were super crispy and not greasy, which was a delight to eat.

The brunch cocktails are tasty as well. Try the breakfast martini. It has a lovely fresh flavour. The cocktail did go well with avocado toast. It is a relaxing experience to enjoy brunch here. The staff is [very] friendly and fast.

Hello Beautiful Souls! Foodwise I got you covered for a whole year. As you noticed, the weekly blog post is this period all about cute places here in London for a casual cosy [or ultimate fine dining] experience. Find them all under the Food corner.

With this said, here is another [once in a lifetime] experience, a Jubilee Afternoon tea at Searcys at the [freaking] Gherkin. Yes, you got this right! We had an afternoon tea at the top of the Gherkin with some delicious champagne. The Jubilee afternoon tea was until July, but the restaurant and bar are open daily. If you want to surprise someone with something special, look no further.

If you have been to Sketch The Gallery, then [honestly] no other afternoon tea can compete with them. However, the Champagne, the beetroot salmon, service, location and [of course] the company made this a day to never forget.

It is also a perfect location for just drinks at the bar with a 360 degrees view from the top. You are welcome!

HELLO FOODIE GEMS | COAL OFFICE RESTAURANT

Hello Beautiful Souls! How is it going? I hope you like seeing the weekly food posts about some cool places here in London. Today I am taking you to Coal Office in Kings Cross near Coal Drops Yard.

Coal Office is a fine dining experience mixed with the Middle East & Mediterranean cuisine in a modern contemporary setting with mesmerizing interior design by Tom Dixon. The Coal Office is by Chef Assaf Granit and interior designer Tom Dixon. Next to the restaurant, there are some spaces dedicated to events.

The atmosphere and service are excellent in this place. Lovely music plays in the background. A must-try is the Kubalah bread [brioche], the Iraqi Tropical [Yellow tail sashimi], Bone Capara [Bone marrow] and [of course] the [Octopus] al Lachuh. Order a good wine, and [et voila] a lovely night out with outstanding food and drinks is on its way. You will not be disappointed. [Maybe your bank account a tiny bit, but it is worth every penny]

It is one of the best restaurants so far [for me]. You can even purchase the interior design [especially the lighting is stunning] online on Tom Dixon Official.
