Hello beautiful Souls! London has opened up in the last few months which means the theatres are back in business. If I am honest, the two musicals below were completely unexpected, but they turned out to be a beautiful surprise in life. [It made me excited to see more and more musicals again] I am so grateful I got a chance to see them both. With this said, I didn’t check anything online beforehand, so both musicals were a magical surprise. I won’t tell any spoiler alerts about both musicals [so don’t be afraid to read the full post]. I just want to say both musicals are so worth seeing at least once in your life while in London.

BOOK OF MORMON

The book of Mormon is such a fun musical with catchy songs. Falling in love with the main characters is easy. The creators are the writers of South Park. There is a lot of humour and spot-on satire.

HAMILTON

This musical is something else. From the first song, you feel swept away by the story of Hamilton. It is a sung – rapped through musical, which is something I have never seen before. The cast in London was incredible. They all had amazing voices. Hamilton is created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who recently worked on Disney’s Encanto. There are so many great songs throughout the whole musical. It is a musical you will love from the first note till the end. [I now know why this is one of the best musicals ever made] A plus is that the Victoria Palace Theatre is one of the most mesmerizing theatres I have ever seen. Tiny update; it was that great I had to see it again from the stall. (It has a slightly restricted view if you have stall seats, but for a second-round, it is not bad at all)
