HELLO LONDON | JOHN LEGEND AT ROYAL ALBERT HALL

Hello Beautiful Souls! Today, I want to share with you my unforgettable experience at the Royal Albert Hall to see John Legend. It was my first time at this beautiful venue, and I was blown away by the intimacy of the concert and venue compared to other larger stadiums.

John Legend’s performance was simply breathtaking. With just his voice and piano, he took us on a journey through his music career. I discovered some of his earliest collaborations and hits, which I had no clue about. His musicality and performance were both mesmerizing, and I felt honoured to be there to witness it all.

The Royal Albert Hall itself is an impressive venue, with a rich history and stunning architecture. The venue was packed with fans eagerly waiting for John’s arrival, and as soon as he came out, the atmosphere was electric.

John started with some of his more recent songs, and I could feel the excitement building as he moved on to his older hits. The way he played and sang was simply mesmerizing, and he had the audience completely captivated.

The highlight of the night for me was when John played his collaboration with Common, “Glory,” which was the theme song for the movie “Selma.” The power of his voice combined with the message of the song gave me goosebumps, and I could see that I wasn’t the only one.

The concert ended with John’s most famous song, “All of Me,” and the entire crowd sang along with him. It was a magical moment that I will never forget.

Overall, my experience at the Royal Albert Hall to see John Legend was one of the best intimate concerts I have ever been to. The venue itself was captivating, and John’s performance was simply unforgettable. I would highly recommend anyone to see him perform if they ever get the chance.

HELLO LONDON | SEVEN DIALS MARKET

Hello beautiful souls! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Seven Dials Market, a bustling food hall located in the heart of London. With 19 different food businesses to choose from, there truly is something for everyone in this market.

As soon as I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the delicious smells coming from all of the different stalls. The traders at Seven Dials Market include Bad Boys Pizza, Bar Nana, Bong Bong’s, Boolay Crepes, Chai Guys, Curry on Naanstop, Deekenek, Longboys, Naanstop Express, Ong Ong Buns, Oshpaz, Pick & Cheese, Shuk, Soft Serve Society, Wheelcake Island, Yaay Yaay, and Yum Bun.

I headed straight to Yum Bun and ordered their box set of two buns with pork belly and seaweed fries. Let me tell you, it was delicious! The buns were soft and fluffy, and the pork belly was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I did forget to order the passionfruit juice, which I’m still regretting, but I’ll be back to try it next time.

The vibe at Seven Dials Market is more vibrant and busy than other markets like Spitalfields and the Arcade Hall. It’s located near Covent Garden, so it’s a great place to explore after lunch or dinner in the area.

Overall, my experience at Seven Dials Market was fantastic. The variety of food options is amazing, and it’s so easy to get the food you want as it’s all in one place. If you’re looking for a fun and delicious foodie experience in London, Seven Dials Market is worth a visit!

HELLO MUSICAL | DIRTY DANCING

Hello beautiful people! I recently had the pleasure of attending the musical Dirty Dancing at the Dominion Theatre in London. I was lucky enough to find some great stall tickets via TodayTix and let me tell you, the show did not disappoint!

The musical adaptation of the iconic 1987 film is a nostalgic trip down memory lane, and it perfectly captures the essence of the movie while adding its unique twist. The show features some of the best scenes from the film, including the famous lift, and the chemistry between the two lead characters, Johnny and Baby, is electrifying.

Speaking of Johnny, the actor who played him looked [absolutely] amazing. All the ladies in the stall were giggling and swooning when he came on stage, and it was easy to see why. He embodied the character perfectly, and his dancing skills were truly impressive.

One of the highlights of the show was [definitely] the “Magic Mike moment of surprise.” I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t seen the show yet, but let’s just say that it was a fun and unexpected addition to the performance.

Overall, Dirty Dancing was a joy to watch, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the movie or just loves a good musical. The energy and enthusiasm of the cast and crew were infectious, and it was impossible not to get swept up in the excitement of the show.
