My Honest Review of Dirty Dancing
I had such a fun evening watching Dirty Dancing at the Dominion Theatre. As someone who enjoys the film, I loved seeing its familiar story brought to life on stage. The dancing, music and energy made it a nostalgic night out.
The chemistry between Baby and Johnny was one of the highlights for me. The actor playing Johnny was a fantastic dancer, and his performance certainly caught the attention of the audience. There was plenty of giggling and swooning around me!
Another highlight was a surprise moment that reminded me of Magic Mike. I won’t spoil it, but it was a fun addition that made the evening even more memorable.
How Does Dirty Dancing Compare With the Film?
The stage show brings the familiar story of Baby and Johnny to life, including some of the film’s best-loved moments. Fans can look forward to the famous lift, while the live dancing gives the story its own energy. For me, recognising those scenes was part of the fun.
