If you’re strolling along the Thames and craving a great steak, Flat Iron Southbank is an excellent choice. Tucked just behind the Southbank Centre at the Royal Festival Hall, Belvedere Road, London SE1 8XX, this spot combines quality meat with reasonable prices.
Flat Iron is famous for its signature Flat Iron steak, a perfectly cooked, tender cut that’s just £15 in August 2025 (prices may change in the future). If you’re feeling indulgent, try one of their beef specials or the Wagyu Steak of the Day, usually priced between £23 and £30.
One side dish you have to order is the Truffled Macaroni Cheese. It’s rich, cheesy, and the truffle flavour comes through, pure comfort food bliss.
