Hello Beautiful Souls,
I can’t control my excitement as I share my unforgettable experience at Duck & Waffle, located on the 40th floor in the Salesforce Tower near Liverpool Street Station. It was another lovely day spent with my mom, and I must say, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit if you want to see London at its very best.
As we arrived a little early, we started at the bar for a drink, and oh, what a view! The sight of the iconic Gherkin right in front of us was simply breathtaking. It set the perfect tone for the marvellous culinary journey that awaited us.
We opted for the Sunday Roast 3-course menu, priced at £55, and it exceeded all expectations. The Angus Beef Tartare was a heavenly delight, bursting with flavour and perfectly complemented by the fresh ingredients. Of course, you can’t visit Duck & Waffle without trying their renowned roast, and it did not disappoint. Juicy, succulent, and cooked to perfection – it was a taste of comfort and indulgence in every bite.
As side dishes, we chose the Hispi Cabbage, which provided my mom with so much inspiration for her creations at home, and the Four Cheese Cauliflower and Leek Gratin. Being a cheese lover, I was in absolute cheesy heaven with every forkful.
But the grand finale was the dessert course, where we relished the Biscoff Cheesecake and the Sticky Toffee Waffle. Both were delightful, but the Sticky Toffee Waffle was the clear winner, stealing the show alongside the unforgettable roast.
Duck & Waffle is not just a dining experience; it’s an adventure for the senses. From the exquisite food to the breathtaking views of London’s skyline, every moment was filled with magic and wonder.
So, if you’re in search of a culinary escapade that combines great food, stunning vistas, and warm company, I wholeheartedly recommend Duck & Waffle.
With love,
Miss Widjaja
