HELLO THEATRE | SABRAGE - LAFAYETTE

Hello Beautiful Souls,
Today’s English grammar note: Sometimes, a full stop isn’t what we need; sometimes, we need a glitter bomb instead.

And that’s exactly what I walked into at Sabrage, a high-energy entertainment show that’s part burlesque, part circus, part party, and entirely fabulous. Set at Lafayette near St Pancras (which, by the way, is super easy to get to), this show was a total surprise in the best way.sabrage

From the moment you step in, it’s clear this isn’t your average night out. Think bold lights, playful flirting, and jaw-dropping performances that balance cheeky fun with impressive skill. There were aerial acts, dance numbers, comedy bits, a bit of tasteful nudity (nothing too much, just enough to make you giggle and blush), and enough sparkle to light up the entire King’s Cross skyline.

sabrageWhat I loved most was the vibe, it's not trying to be too serious or deep. It's unapologetically fun, deliciously over-the-top, and the kind of evening that leaves you saying, “Did that just happen?” in the best way.

The performers had fantastic stage presence and knew exactly how to read the room, teasing without overstepping, and performing with polish and playfulness. You could tell they were having just as much fun as we were.

It’s one of those shows that would make an epic birthday night, a sassy date, or even a girls’ night out with a twist.

Sadly, the show has wrapped for now (it ran until July), but word on the street is they may be touring across the UK, so keep your eyes open. If Sabrage swings by your city, go.

Not everything has to be theatre with a capital T, sometimes, it's just about the sparkle, the sass, and having a brilliant night out.

With love,
